garden plants water consumption

The garden includes a wide variety of plants. This makes it difficult to know the precise water consumption of each plant. However, according to cumulative experience, we know how to classify plants roughly, for those who consume large, medium or water-saving quantities of water.
We try to plant in close proximity plants that have a similar relationship to water, and then we can calculate the operation of the water supply, which is characteristic of the same group that is different from other taps.
The water consumption of the plants is influenced by the nature of the plant and the environment in the area of growth (temperature, intensity of radiation, relative humidity, winds, etc.), these conditions vary in different seasons and regions due to geographical conditions.

Evaporative evaporative coefficient
Measure evaporation of water in each region and season may give us information and coefficient of water consumption of the plants, as free evaporation of water from the tub is influenced by environmental conditions and is in good correlation with the water consumption of the plant.
The Institute of Metrology publishes a multi-annual average evaporation rate in each season and region. If we know the correlation between the evaporation data from the tub and the actual water consumption by the plant, then we have a fly numerical tool and simply calculate the water ration.
The correlation was made in experiments on the ground, and a relatively high coefficient was found for seasonal flowers and roses, a medium coefficient for lawns, and a low coefficient for a number of cover plants, shrubs and Mediterranean and Aryan trees.

The calculation of the water ration for each irrigation will be calculated according to the following formula:

(M) X Water evaporation coefficient (characteristic of each plant or group)

Evaporation data: updated tables of evaporation data can be obtained from the training offices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in the field service box, but tables of multi-year averages of evaporation from the tub can be used. Each gardener will select the appropriate station data for the garden climate.

Set the irrigation interval
Irrigation interval is determined according to the ability to utilize the water of the plant from the ground. This depends on the type of soil and the nature of the root system of each plant. Therefore, the gardener must determine the irrigation interval according to the nature of the plant and the type of soil. Therefore, in very light and sandy soils, it is necessary to irrigate frequently in small doses, whereas in medium and heavy soils the irrigation can be made into larger quantities.

Example of determining the irrigation interval in the grass according to the type of land:

Type of land days between irrigation
Dune 5
Easy 7
Medium 7-14
Heavy 30-14

Activation program
In order to calculate the irrigation dose per operation (tap), the garden areas should be measured and some of them for irrigation areas (activities) - grass, bushes, trees, roses, etc. For each faucet, a monthly and annual operating plan must be prepared with respect to the water consumption of the plants according to evaporation data, similar to those of the garden area and according to the evaporation coefficients of the various plant groups. Farms according to the operating plan prepared and improve the irrigation by the state of plants in the garden. Such an operating plan enables irrigation efficiency both in terms of proper and economical planning of the water sector in the garden and in terms of the water consumption of the plants.
